During his rule, Sennacherib moved on Jerusalem, commissioned the field commander, and departed. The field commander attacked Zion, and made great boasts in his arrogance.
Some of these did that which pleased God: but others committed many sins.
During his reign Sennacherib attacked the city and sent his chief official from Lachish. He challenged Jerusalem and boasted arrogantly.
During his reign Sennacherib led an invasion and sent his adjutant; He shook his fist at Zion and blasphemed God in his pride.
During his reign Sennacherib invaded the country and sent Rabshakeh, his commander. He shook his fist against Zion, and in his arrogance he boasted loudly.
